Olympus Automation is a leader in CNC technology, backed by over 70 years of combined industry expertise.

Our mission is to design and manufacture high-performance CNC machines that enhance productivity and precision for businesses across various sectors. With our origins in South Africa, we have grown into a trusted global brand, now serving the European market from our Czech Republic branch.

Along with the manufacturing of our own machinery, we provide a comprehensive range of printers, vinyl cutters, Flatbed cutters, laminators and consumables. We strive to source only the best quality machines and consumables for our clients.

History

Our Legacy of Expertise & Innovation

1995
Initial Company Was Established
C&S Centre PTY (Ltd) was founded in South Africa, primarily focused on computer-aided sign-writing equipment and consumables.
1996
Emerging Interests In CNC Machines
Interest in CNC machines emerged, marking the beginning of years of development and innovation in the field.
2008
Initial designs of machinery began
The first stages of research and development on our CNC Athena Routers commenced.
2012
Production of our first CNC Router
Years of research and development culminated in the creation of the first Athena Router, which remains in service to this day.
2017
Olympus Automation PTY (Ltd) established
Olympus Automation was officially established, incorporating decades of accumulated knowledge and experience.
2019
Construction of our new factory
Construction of our new facility in South Africa began.
2020
Expansion plans
The vision of expanding Olympus Automation into an international franchise was conceived.
2021
Production of our first CNC Plasma table
After years of upgrading countless CNC plasma tables, we set out to build our own—designed for greater stability and reliability.
2022
Opening of first international branch
The first international branch was opened in the Czech Republic, serving the European market.
2023
Entering the hobby market
An interest in the CNC hobby market sparked the initial design process, leading to the production of our first hobby-focused machine—the Vulkan CNC Hobby Plasma.
